Magnet from the SEXTON self-propelled gun at Place du Major Kiln in Ver-sur-Mer. The 86th Self-Propelled Regiment of the Royal Artillery landed at Ver-sur-Mer on 6 June 1944 with 24 SEXTONs in support of the 69th Infantry Brigade. Today, the SEXTON stands as a memorial to the British gunners of the Hertfordshire Yeomanry.
