Guided tours of the British Normandy Memorial
We offer guided tours of the British Normandy Memorial this autumn, winter and spring 2025, by appointment.
Come and discover the beauty of the site and the magnificent view of the Ver-sur-Mer marsh and the remains of the artificial port of Arromanches. Why a British memorial in Ver-sur-Mer? How and by whom was it built? What history does this site tell us? Which British units landed here on June 6, 1944? We also evoke the memory of soldiers whose names are engraved on the stones of this memorial.
Duration of the visit between 1h15 and 1h30. Accessible to people with reduced mobility. Single flat rate of €50 from 1 to 50 people. Reservation at 02 31 22 58 58 or by email: america.goldbeach@gmail.com
